D had his first soccer game the other night. I was trying to get a few pregame shots of B and this is how he wanted his pic taken, so here you go!! I tried another but he held his cookie container in front of his face for that one.

It was hysterical because
all of the kids uniforms were totally oversized, I'm not sure who they thought were playing but my bean pole could of used a x-small that's for sure!

This pic is from the pregame warm up. I didn't get many during the game for two reasons. #1 I was too busy watching the game to take pics this time and #2 I don't think he would of been visible in the "bee swarm" of kids chasing the ball around. He had a great time though, I think he had a huge grin on his face the ENTIRE game! He played almost the whole game until the last break period. I was glad because he was dripping sweat and you could tell he was tired. I think his team scored about 5 goals for the OTHER team! It was the cutest to watch. B did excellent too, sitting on the sidelines watching big bro play.

D had a school project to make a "soap box derby" type car project. We used a small shoebox and had two Chuck E Cheese drivers. D did most of the decorating and daddy helped make the wing for the back.

I thought we did a pretty good job and tried to let him do most of the work. You should of seen some of the other cars done by the kids in his class. Wow , it was pretty neat. I took some pics and made a simple photo collage to send home for the other parents to see. I make that it's own post so you can click to enlarge the pic and see the cars. Pretty neat.
Had a stomach virus most of the weekend. YUK! I'm hoping that it's ending today! I tried to eat yesterday and paid for it, so I'm gonna just pick a little today and try to build back up to eating normal food. I hope this is the last day!
Went to D's school this morning and read 2 books to his class in Library. It was so fun and the kids were so cute! I love to hear what the kids say, it's so adorable! D was excited I was there, so that made me happy too! Last week when he brought home his first library book, we started to read it before bedtime. I started to read and he interrupted me...."mommy!! Who is it written and illustrated by??!!" Oh....well excuse me.....I just had to laugh. I was glad to know he has been listening to his Library teacher. So from now on, we always state who the book is written and illustrated by. I made sure to tell the class today also, and then the kids made sure I knew that illustrated meant that person drew the pictures! So smart! The kids were so much fun.
I'm going back today to help relieve the teachers for lunch. I help watch the kids and help them eat their lunch so that the teacher's can have a break. It's really easy and it helps the teachers. I have done it once already so this time I'll know just what to do. I have two other mothers signed up to help on other days also. It's something they do at the school if parents are able. It's just to relieve the teachers once a week so that they can go and eat their lunch in peace. I thought it's a great idea. D's teachers aide told me that no one was able to relieve them last year. Hopefully this year there will be a few other parents that are able to help.
Having a B and Mommy day tomorrow. I'm excited. I'm not sure what we're going to do yet. I'm looking forward to it. I did quite a few with D when he was this age and B was still a baby. Now it's B turn....a day out of school to spend having fun with mommy.....love it!!
