It was a great night! Devin made a sign for his not so favorite and for his favorite! Cute!

OOps, lost a tire, but still a great run!

We had a wonderful time! Amazingly it was a simple easy night. We drove to New Orleans and parked in the garage. We had no idea where our seats were. We walked straight up several flights of stairs in the garage to the concourse level. We were at the exact gate we needed! wow!! Then we just went straight up to our nose bleed seats! LOL, so very easy!!! Then when it was over, we took the far stairs that we came up and there wasn't the typical crazy crowd. We went straight down to the garage, got in our car. We were ahead of the craziness, then we went up one garage level and straight out to the street! What?? We couldn't believe it!! That was so amazingly easy! I don't expect it everytime but it sure was nice this time. 

Today was a lazy day. We didn't do too much. Just enjoyed the day with each other relaxing. This week we'll be back to the business and planning, but it's all so exciting! I'm even praying all continues well so we might can have our yearly Disney trip!! whoo hoo!! We were dreaming of Disney Hawaii, but the rooms are all booked up during anytime that we might would go. So, no prob, we'll just plan for next year maybe.

Well hope everyone enjoys their Sunday evening before Manic Monday! LOL.

Still thankful

The rest of the week has went really well! I am so happy.
Tonight is Monster Jam truck night! whoo hoo! The boys are thrilled! It should be great. It will be in the biggest venue they have seen them in yet, so it should be some cool stunts.
I'm getting hooked on Pinterest! why oh why did people want me to join? Seriously, it is a very cool place to find recipes, home decor, craft ideas etc. It's like an online cork board organization center. I have found some really cool ideas, now I just need to try them.
We went to some friends last night for a crawfish boil. Talk about DELISH! Unfortunatley the pic I took of all the yummy crawfish, potatoes, sausage and corn that totally filled the table didn't turn out. So here's a mock picture I found online.LOL..

.his table was larger and totally full of crawfish. So good!! Can't wait till we can cook up our own at our own house! Won't be too long!
Well just wanted to put a short update. Gotta head outside to the beautiful weather and watch the boys ride their scooters. Toodles.

Lots of Great exciting news around here!!
#1 We sold our house and are closing next month!
#2 We found a new house and are closing and moving in next month!
#3 I have a potential job opportunity that might just work out, and it's great hours, opportunities and the time frame is great!
#4 Bry made the 100 club! He is only 1 of 3 kids in his class of 25 to be able to write from 1 to 100 without any mistakes!! whoo hoo!! So proud!
#5 Dev does his 1st Reconciliation tonight, next step is 1st Communion!
#6 I am joining the Catholic Church. I will be confirmed at Easter!
#7 Mike's job is going really good.
#8 We are taking the boys to see the monster trucks this Sat. They will love it!

We are so blessed how things are falling right into place!! We are so thankful!! Thanks for all the prayers! Keep them coming! We love you all!

School project! Bry got to make a "rice baby". He had to bring in panty hose and enough pounds of rice to match his birth weight....by the way...9 pounds 1 ounce of rice!!  He loves his rice baby and it turned out so cute. The head is wobbly just like a real baby. He's been taking great care of him and sleeps with him I night. I babysit during the day. So cute!

Here I DON'T go again

Well all my race excitement has gone away, I'm not doing the race. BUT, my excitement has been replaced! We got a contract on our house!!! yippee!! We are scheduled to close next month, right before the race. It's going to be a busy next month with trips to organize, clean, garage sale and get everything packed and ready to move. I am praying that everything continues well all the way through the closing and that we don't have any problems. This is so exciting. We are going to look at a few houses here this week with a more serious hat on and see what we can find!!! yay!! Thanks for all the prayers and keep them coming!

More good news! Dev got his honor roll certificate! He got Alpha honor roll. I think he was only one GPA point away from the President honor roll. But we are still so very proud of him!! Hoping he continues the rest of the year!!

I got love my sleeping babies! Can you find him? LOL

Here are a few recent Lego creations!

Dev has a retreat this morning for his 1st Communion preparation. Me and Bry get to hang out together. I think we might go to the mall and not sure what else yet. He woke up happy this morning asking " Is this when we get to hang out together?" So sweet!

Another job I was checking on has been filled with someone else. Funny though, this is all working out great because I'm able to get moving things done without having to worry about taking off of work and getting time off. So I know things are out of my control and I'm just following along. Things are working out so nicely, just needing to practice our patience.

Here I go again

Yes it's true. I'm going to run another 1/2 marathon!! I was planning on just doing the relay with a friend but her sis chose the 1/2 and then we figured we better keep up with the young-en's  hee hee. So this will be my 3rd 1/2 marathon. Two of my fellow princess 1/2 runners will be doing it with me. My other princess has an excuse, she's preggo. I hate she can't join us. But who knows maybe one day we'll be doing a full together...eeekkk!? Did I just say that????  I have those voices that keep talking to me, on my right shoulder...."do it , you can do it!!", on my left " are you absolutely CRAZY!!" Ha ha I guess you know the one I keep hearing the loudest! CRAZY!! Anyway, so this is my week one of training. It's only 8 weeks away so I'm modifying my 10 week schedule down into 8. At least I ran some miles last week so that helps. I'm excited, I think this will be fun.

Praying to hear some great house news this week.

What else? Saw Jennifer Hudson on two different shows. Wow, she looks amazing!!

ROLL TIDE!! So happy that Bama won, we knew they would! LOL.   We know a LSU fan couple that paid almost 3K to go to the game and LSU got shut out!!! What a bummer for them!!! Of course if LSU would have won it would of been great for them, but Nope! No one protected LSU from MAYHEM!! ha ha!!

Hoping the weather is nice tomorrow for my run. Friday is supposed to be nice, just a little cool. I will be running 6 miles on Friday. So I need the weather to cooperate.

Well I think that's all for now. Not too much else at the moment. Hopefully soon though I'll have great news!

It's going to be great

My 2012 positive attitude is telling me it's going to be a great year, right?!!

We took the boys to the LSU campus to see Mike the Tiger, we know Bama is going to win this time!!! LOL, sorry Mike, you're gonna lose!

My new little rocker! He is loving his new guitar and Lego Rock Band game on Wii, he is really enjoying the rocking out!!

We had a great New Year! We brought in the year with a Champagne toast with some great long time friends!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The kids wore them selves out racing in the front yard. Looks like Dev is going to win by a nose!! LOL

We took a trip to Pensacola beach to have lunch with another great long time friend! The boys loved seening the beach, the sailboats and all the water. They really wanted to take a boat ride. We told them we might come back and do that another time. It wasn't in the plans for that day. It was such a gorgeous day, I really miss the beach!!

The weather is supposed to be in the 70's all week here! Yay! I love the warm weather. I have ran twice this week. Whoo hoo. Trying to stay motivated for this new year.

We are having quite of bit of activity on our house, so please keep those prayers coming for it to sell soon. I really pray the right buyer walks through the door really soon.

I think I"m ready to dig out my scrapbook stuff again. I really want to finish our wedding album. I got some gift cards for Christmas so it will be a great help to get some supplies I need to get going again.

I have to Mommy brag on my boys. The started their new school in Oct and as of Christmas break neither boy got any disciplinary marks of any kind the whole three months!! I am so proud of them for doing so well in their new school. They are really enjoying it. Report cards come home tomorrow. I am predicting more proud Mommy moments!!!

A friend of mine is headed to Disney for the 1/2 marathon this weekend! I am so happy for her and jealous too. I can't wait to do another race in Disney. It is such a great experience and I have to say their medals are awesome!!!! Hoping the whole family can be with me this time to help celebrate as I cross the finish line. I don't have a race picked out yet, but I'm keeping an eye out.
