Where to begin

Let's see where I should begin.... I have alot to catch you up on.
Well on Mom's birthday I got to her house early and had to continue the fun 60's!! I had these paper plates and decided to decorate her house and hide the plates all over the house for her to find!!

For example, the dishwasher!! LOL... it took her a few days finding all the plates I hid!!

She thought I was taking her out to dinner, but she didn't know a few people would be joining us. She was pleasantly surprised!

She even got some gifts! A cooler full of beer!

An awesome scrapbook for the Grandkids!

She also got a homemade baby book! It was hysterical! I'll have to scan the pages and share them on here, it's hard to explain, but just know it was hysterical!!!

We headed down to Pensacola for the weekend for my 20th HS reunion. While we were there we got to visit with my inlaws and they took the boys swimming while Mike and I ran some errands. One of the days was a family day at the beach for the reunion on the Navy base. The boys had a great time trying to catch crabs and minnows.

While we were on the base we took the boys for a quick visit to the Naval Museum.

The boys couldn't wait to climb in the Blue Angel jet. Last time Bry was too scared to sit in it.

But not this time!!! whoo hoo!!

Dev got in too!

One evening we met up with some friends for a BBQ. They just got a new pool so all the boys got to swim. They also enjoyed the hot tub.

My reunion was pretty good. It was great seeing some of my ole buddies.

Bry had his preK graduation last night from his daycare. He has been going there since he was about 9 weeks old!! He did leave to go to preK but he came back for the summer and got to participate in the graduation! Love it!

Dev has been having his soccer camp 4 nights a week for the last 3 weeks. He has really improved with all the practice. I'm not sure when they start having games. This is his last week of the camp. He is really enjoying it, but very tired! LOL.

I think that's about all for now. Gotta run. Toodles!

THE day is finally here!!

Yes the day has finally arrived...

HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY MOM!!

I'll always need my Mom no matter what age I am...My Mom made me laugh...wiped my tears...hugged me tight...watched me succeed...saw me fall...cheered me on...kept me going strong...and drove me a little crazy at times! But my Mom was a promise from God that I will have a friend forever!… (copied this from facebook.) But I love it!

I know she didn't realize a year ago when I starting counting down to her turning 60 that she would spend almost her whole birthday month celebrating! But hey why not?! LOL!!

I was sneaky yesterday and hid some flowers in her house and texted her this morning to go to the area for a surprise! I'm also taking her out to dinner to tonight so we can finish celebrating! I don't know what I'm going to do now without getting to give her the countdown!! ha ha....

Love you Mom!!

Porcu...

Can you guess?? Porcupine!! I made the boys a porcupine PB&J sandwich. They loved it! So easy to make. Looking at the pic I probably could have added a few more pretzel sticks pointing out, but that's OK.

Took the boys to see Cars 2 over the weekend. Yes, they loved it!! It was a really cute movie. They wanted to head straight to Target to get Cars 2 toys but we talked them out of it.

Worked on some house work over the weekend too, just general maintenance things. Nothing overly exciting. It was pretty hot outside.

Looking forward to our last weekend getaway of the summer. Heading down south for my 20th HS reunion..eeekk!! It will be fun to see some of the people I haven't see in the long 20 yrs! We are also going to take the boys to the Naval museum again and hopefully the beach if the weather cooperates.

Not too much else exciting going on. Although the countdown is almost over.....only 2 more days till Mom is the big 60!! ha ha, I know she'll be excited once it gets here so I'll stop counting down! I've only been counting down since about oh...let's see 363 days ago?! LOL!!!

Toodles for now.

Part 1 of......

Not sure how many parts there will be, but here's Part 1 from our trip. So let's start out the night before the trip. Here's what Mom found on the bedroom door! Hee hee

Then this was on the bed!

We drove a long 14 hours and then stopped to stay the night in Minneapolis. When we were leaving the hotel to go to the mall I just couldn't find my camera...or so Mom thought! I'm so sneaky, so when we got back the bed was decorated with a banner, a funny note and a 60 necklace!

By the way, I did make her wear her fancy new hat all around the mall!! She was such a good sport! Too bad she didn't get a free drink with it!!

Jen had to take a pic with the afro guy for throw back Pepsi!

Browsing the mall we passed Bubba Gumps. We decided not to eat there though.

The mall had a really cool mirror maze. But honestly I got really frustrated because we couldn't find our way out. Jen and Mom weren't helping! But we did follow a lady out that seemed to know where she was going.

I just had to take this pic for my Spongebob lover Bry!!

After leaving the mall we stopped at  a gas station along the way and played tourists! It was 3 more hours from Minneapolis.

Oh yeah, of course we had to stop in the Lego store to shop for my boys when we were at the mall.

Of course I had to get Mom a shirt to wear for the family celebration!

Love the cane she got!!

We did get Mom out on an adventure for her very 1st tubing ride!! whoo hoo...and she loved it!!

My turn! It was so fun! But the fun was cut short due to thunder and really close lightning!! It even made my little 2nd cousins hair stand straight up in the air with static!! what!!?? That was spooky! She was riding on the tube when the lighting got so close! Needless to say we got right out of the water!

Just love this sunset pic!! I might have to frame this one!!

The house we stayed at had lots of animals, check out the Bob cat!! LOL!

Well here are some of the pics I took on our trip. I'll be posting more later, probably a link to all of them, you know how I like to take lots of pictures!! Toodles, AND tomorrow is Friday!! yay!!
