More fun and stuff

So a couple of weeks ago shortly after we put our house on the market my in-laws sent us the St. Joseph statue to bury in our yard. He will help us sell our house!

We went out and found the perfect spot for the statues.

We have been having alot of coincidental things happening with this whole moving event. But this statue came with a card telling the instruction of how and where to bury St. Joseph and the prayers to say and everything. Well on the back of the card it tells of how this originated it starts to mention St. Teresa of Avila!!!!!!!what??????? Believe this or not, but that is the name of the school in the town we are moving that the boys will be attending....how about that??!!!!  I couldn't believe it!! Must be meant to be!

Dev decided he wanted a snorkle set. I told him that would be great and he could use it on our cruise! So he thought it would be a great idea to try it out in our tub!! Ok....why not?....so he did!! It was funny, but he did a great job! I can't wait to see him and get pics of him snorkeling in the ocean right off of Disney's private island.....nice!!

Well we haven't had anymore showings yet...hoping we will get at least one and more would be great this weekend!! Kinda a bummer to keep the house sparkling and no one is coming by to see it!!

Wow, ran 6 miles on Tuesday night and 2.5 miles tonight. I keep track of my running with an app on FB. Well I can't wait to see the total mileage the end of this month. I have been officially keeping track for just over a year. But there are runs that are logged before that. So I'm starting from last August to this August when I've been keeping a log. Amazing...I have ran at least once...hee hee..mostly more than once...but I have ran every month for the last year! wow! That's quite an accomplishment for me. So at the end of this month I want to see the total mileage, that's kinda cool. If I can get at least 20 more miles in this month I will have my 2nd highest mileage month all year from last August, but if I'm remembering right even if I don't get to 20, a few more runs and I'll be in the top 3rd month. The next week will be a little crazy with everything happening, but I would love to get another 20 miles in!! We'll see how it goes.

I can't believe I only have 4 more days of work left. I will really miss where I work. There have been issues don't get me wrong, just like every other place, but overall it's been such a great job and place to work, I can only pray I'll be blessed with another great job in our new city! Oh yeah...I forgot to mention a few other of the coincidences! So, Dev was worried about not having a bday party here, since we are moving one week before his bday. He told me he needed at least 30 days at his new school to make friends to have a party...LOL....I started to feel bad so I told him we'd have a party the weekend before we move with family and a few of his best friends. Well, some of you might remember and if you don't....we moved from STL about one week before Dev's 1st bday and had a party for him there right before we left! That was exactly 7 years ago!! Well, to top if off....so we've lived here 7 years and we previously lived in STL for 7 years!! Go figure! Isn't that wierd! I know....I'm seeing all these wierd things, but it's true though! Wow!! Go lucky 7!! what else?! I say our house sells Sept 7th!! yes...say it with me....sells on sept. 7th!!! LOL....but I do pray it's true!

Well I think that's all for now. Lots of other preparation for the move details but pretty boring about that so I'll skip it. Just to say everything is lining up. But, I'm looking forward to the cruise most of all!! 1 week and just a few days...yippee!!!!!!!!!

Fun

Here I am, I know the blogs have been scarce... I got to watch my neice one evening. She had alot of fun playing with the boys. What cute cousins!!  Sad that the for sale sign is in the background though...Ha...didn't realize it until after I had taken the pics and the kids ran off to finish playing.

We are steady busy around here lately. Lots of to do stuff!

We did go to the mall on Saturday while Mike got an eye exam. It has been awhile since I've been to the mall walking around with the boys. We rode a small train that rides around through the mall, and we rode the carousel and Dev did this trampoline jumping thing all while we were waiting on Daddy. The best part was when we went back to check on him, the girl told us that me and the boys could get some sunglasses if we wanted with my vision insurance and if they were under $100 we would only have to pay tax. Hmmm...why not?! hee hee. The insurance is ending this month and I've been paying for 2 months so why not? So I looked around and found myself a $99 pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses and paid $5 for them! wow...can't beat that!! Then we looked for the boys....too funny....my boys both have Ray Ban sunglasses now! They cost us $4 and $5 dollars, normally $89 and $99!! What a deal! Ha...you can't even buy children's spiderman sunglasses for under $10! The best part is as the boys grow she said we could just bring the glasses back to any location and they can adjust them for free! wow! Yeah! We all left the mall looking pretty cool in our new sunglasses! That was funny!

Oh yeah, I did make another food creation for the boys this weekend! It was Angry Bird toast with jelly!
The boys loved it, I think it did turn out pretty cute. A friend on FB said her son saw the pic and was like "why do they get treats for breakfast?" ha ha...she figured she might try it too! :-)

Still been trying to get my running in. I haven't been doing too bad. It's pretty tough with all the schedule changes that I'm trying to keep us with, the to do list and the normal stuff too. But I'm hanging in there. I've actually added in a new sprint interval workout occassionally, and wow I have to say it has really helped. It has increased my regular pace by quite a bit. Very interesting!

9 days till our vacation!! whoo hoo and 11 days till the crusie! I'm so excited!!!

Here I am

Well, things have just been busy busy. Not too much fun to report. Just getting things done around the house. The boys are doing good in school. They seem to like their new teachers.
We did have a house showing today...so lots of PRAYERS!!

Anyway, busy at work too, trying to get things lined up for my departure!

I know this isn't long and wasn't much fun to read. I'll try to have some fun stuff to post next time!!

First!

First let me recap to the first day of school which was last week. The boys were up and bright eyed eating their breakfast on the first day of school. Of course Dev was already playing games! LOL

No tears from Mommy this year. Wow!! The boys are pro's at this and I guess Mommy and Daddy are getting there too! But I did see alot of scared little faces in the school that day, especially the little ones. It was probably their very very first day!!

So, back to our big news! Yes we are moving to Baton Rouge. This has come as quite a shock but we will prevail. We' ve went down and checked out the area and little bit of the housing. So many things are happening so fast. I just pray that our house sells quickly! Mike is already commuting down for work for the next few weeks until we can get ourselves in order and get some temporary housing there. We are going to go ahead and get the boys tranferred into school down there also. I'm hoping the earlier in the school year, the better and easier it will be for them. This is all happening very fast. Plus, we have our family cruise coming up Labor Day weekend!! Really looking forward to that!!

Wow...lots on our plate. But we are taking it day by day and have our positive hats on knowing all will work out just fine! I will surely miss everything we have here, house, neighborhood, school, family and friends!! But, I'm trying not to think of those sad things and keep upbeat and positive for our new chapter in our life.

Well back to my to do list! I'll try not to be gone so long this time from blogging!! Toodles.

I'm still here, it's just been kinda crazy.
We're moving!! EEkk!! Hubby got new job and we are moving in probably about a month. Things are very busy and I haven't had a chance to blog much. I'll try to get on tomorrow and fill in some details!!
We are all doing well though! We have our positive hats on and are walking through our new door of life!
