Not sure what happened to the format in the previous post! Sorry if the layout of the text is confusing, but just enjoy the pics! I don't want to try to fix it, as I said, I have things to do and things to eat! ha! later!

It is time for a...........

Picture post! Finally a few pics to share. Just had to post this pic of Bry's froggy. He has had this frog since he was 10 months old and sleeps with it every night. I have hid it in the closet recently but he found it. He always wants to make sure that froggy is covered up when he leaves him in the bed in the morning. It's too cute!

Now it was just some playful time with the camera. I told him to kiss me on the cheek and he did put was having trouble with the "pucker up". Too cute! This was about the 3rd picture and I was showing him how to pucker and then he kissed me so I took the pic....ha ha.

Now it was B's turn after I convinced him to do it. I will cherish these pics!

Tomorrow is B's Easter party at school and I signed up to make the finger sandwiches. It took some convincing for him to understand I was making bunny sandwiches and that it was OK. He kept telling me..."No, you have to make finger sandwiches, not bunny ones!" I just love what kids say! I think they turned out pretty cute! Little bunny jelly sandwiches! Too bad I have to eat the left over mini m-n-m's...oh well. ;-0

Now this is what I call creative. The boys decided to turn their happy meal boxes into hats and not only just hats but ones with eye holes. Haha, I was laughing so hard and told them to hold on while I ran for the camera...of course. Then D ripped one of the eyes off and said he was a pirate!

Well gotta get back to my chores. I'm having a girls night this friday and need to finish up some house cleaning, then get things ready for tomorrow (gotta work again...bummer) and also watch some of my Tivo'd shows while drinking a smirnoff and eating my m-n-m's. Important stuff...especially the last one! ha! Toodles

Wasssssuuuuup?

Well let's see what were are up to here. B was officially accepted into school with big bro this fall. He was so happy to get his letter and the school key chain that came with it! He even slept with the key chain toooooo funny! We got out this morning and went and bought some soil and some flowers to take up to the school for a gardening day. The school was having a day to fix all the flower beds and we went up to help. The boys did great digging holes and planting flowers. The principal was impressed with my two fabulous helpers! Then we headed off to base/tball practice for the boys. This was D's 2nd practice and B's 1st practice. They were on different fields of course but I could see both boys. Don't you know......they both went up to bat at the same time! What are the chances?? Seriously?? Hubby told me that D did really good hitting at the last practice and did so again today. Maybe the most hits of anyone on the team...happy mommy! B....he did awesome too!! He hit probably 2nd most on his team and those were pitched, NOT off the T. I was so proud of both boys today, they did excellent during their practices!
We had a late lunch and then played outside in the warm but breezy weather. Then I headed over to mom's to do a few chores for her and help her wash her hair. She still has the bandages on her arms from the carpal tunnel surgery and won't get them off till Monday. She is doing really well and anxious to get the bandages off.
I really need to working on my shopping skills at Target! I go in for 3 things and leave with 30! 30 things I need! yeah right! I did get a fun new game a friend told me about. It's called Toss up. It's a dice game and it was really easy for the boys to play and pretty fun! On the first round D had 100 and I had 23! How did that happen? The idea is to get 100 points first, I didn't win as you can tell, bummer. But it was still alot of fun.
Tomorrow D is invited to a birthday party. I am not sure what daddy and B are going to do while we are gone, but I'm sure they will find something fun to do. I also have to keep reminding myself that I have to work different days this upcoming week. I switched some days around so I could be off for the school Easter party and D's day off from school on Good Friday. So it's a short weekend for me but then a long one next time, yipee! I'm also having a girls night out at my house next friday. I am really looking forward to a girls night of food, drinks, games, drinks, fun, drinks and more fun! I have a few tricks up my sleeve for some fun, but can't share them here yet since I know some of you are reading this! hee hee hee.
B and my niece are getting baptized on Easter sunday and then we are having a family Easter celebration. My inlaws are coming up also so it's going to be a very special weekend! :-)
Dad's biopsy got rescheduled for April 7th! Praying all things get taken care of before then that need to and that he gets to have the test on that day so we can find out what's going on.
Well I think that's what we are up to around here, now time for some Japanese take out! yum yum! Hoping the hubby will bring something good to drink home with it, ha ha! Toodles!

Let's see
1. I came in 4th for the weight contest. Not too bad considering they went by total pounds and NOT percentage like I thought they were going too. Also one of the girls used diet pills, I was au natural! So 1st was a tie with 27 lbs. then 3rd went to 24.5 and me in 4th with 19.5. I am still happy though :-)
2. Both boys were supposed to have base/tball practice this week but both were cancelled due to weather and field conditions.
3. D is doing really great in school and enjoying it alot.
4. B is moving right along in TKD and should be testing for his next belt soon.
5. Mom is doing well recovering from her carpal tunnel surgery. She still is very limited with the use of her hands but doing well.
6. Planning a girls night out soon and really looking forward to it.
7. My teeth are progressing slowly. If you forgot, three were pulled and three permanents are supposed to come in. The top one is coming in very nicely and almost 1/2 way in. One of the bottom ones is cooperating and the other not so much but I am trying to stay positive. Will this ever end? ugh!!
8. Very disappointed with Idol this year. I think only about three of them should even be on there. The others can sing ok I guess but are picking horrible songs!
9. I have the sweetest boys on earth!!
10. Dad is having a biopsy tomorrow so were are all praying for good news. I will keep you posted on that.

Ok, here are the vacation pics here. There are alot of course and I didn't even upload all of them! I always take a ton of pics! We had such a wonderful time. This is a short post but I'll be back later with more chatter. But wanted to go ahead and share some of our pics! Toodles.

So quickly it's over

Yes we are back from our great vacation! It always seems like forever till it gets here and then it's over in a flash! We all had a wonderful time though! The boys did really good and had a great time! Our room had a view of Magic Kingdom and the boys loved being able to watch the monorails go by every few minutes! I have lots of pics to share and more stories later. It was cooler than we had wished it to be while we were there, but it was much better than steaming hot! We didn't have to wait too long for the rides we wanted either so that was good. It was definetely more crowded than the last time we went, but not too bad.

Right now I'm sitting at the surgery center waiting for mom to have her carpal tunnel surgery, on both hands! yikes! Luckily they have computers here so me and my sis can entertain ourselves. I'll be getting all of our vacation pics together this weekend and posting them here with some fun stories.

The boys will be starting their tball/baseball practices this weekend also. So I have laundry to do and getting back into the swing for next week. It's really warm here today high near 70 but supposed to be highs in the 40's this weekend, yuk! Well just a quick update for now.

Oh yeah, haven't heard about the contest yet, I'm sure it's like I thought, no prize for me but that's ok. I'll probably call them later to find out the scoop. Toodles for now.

oh yeah oh yeah

Oh yeah! So I reached my goal for the contest...20 lbs! whoo hoo! Ok, actually it was 19.5 but you always round up after .5 right??? that's what I thought! ha! I'm happy about it. Still don't think I will win any prizes since a couple other girls have lost more, but it is by percentage so who knows, I might can pull off a 2nd or 3rd prize. But I don't so much care, since I joined it to lose weight and not to win the money. Of course, money is always good and I'd love to win some but at least I did what I set out to do. Not too bad for 10 weeks huh? pat pat on my back and smiling! I am happy that my vacation clothes will fit and I didn't have to buy new bigger ones..eeekkk! That would of been terrible.
We are ready to go and so are the boys to see the mouse! As Mickey would say "hi ya fellas!" Toodles and I'll share pics and stories when we get back.
Oh yeah, short cute story. D reminded me to bring his arm floaties for swimming since he hasn't learned to float yet. Then he asked me if the resort would have the float vests and I told him yes. "mommy, how can those help me float but be so heavy" What a great question! I told him it's kinda like a big boat being heavy and it still floats. It's out of what and how it's made. He accepted it but still thought "that's so wierd!" Too cute!

Excitement galore!

We are very excited to be visiting the mouse in just a few days! The weather was so nice here today in the 70's and it really got me in the mood for vacation!! Also got a great 5.2 mile run in today! Wow, the weather was so nice it really motivated me!! I am trying to get in some hard core workouts this week so I can try to squeeze out a few more pounds before my last weigh in on Friday! eekkk!! Not sure if I'm going to win any prizes, but I'm very happy about the pounds I have lost so far! I know one girl is using diet pills and personally don't think that should be allowed, but I'm not in charge so oh well. At least if she wins, I'll know she had artificial help..boo! I am also really looking forward to my lunch on friday after the weigh in....girl scout cookies and that's it!! yumm!! ha, no I will probably keep them for the car ride or wait...maybe just eat them on friday and buy more for the car, yeah! That's sounds like a good idea...ha ha ha!! I think that's about all here for now, just packing and starving and working out like crazy all week, fun fun! Toodles for now! I might try to post something on Monday from my phone once I find out if I won any $$$$!

Forgetful

I just realized that I didn't post my boys recent belt advancements for TKD. I did put some on facebook but forgot to get them here for the non-FB people. My hubby got his recommendation black belt and B got his orange belt. They both did so good and as always B was so happy to get his new belt!

I think we are going to put D back in TKD also. For awhile he didn't seem to mind not taking it. When he took it before when he was younger he liked it but wasn't all into it like B is. Well now he seems to have some interest in taking it again. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact B and daddy are taking it. I'm not sure when we will start him in though. We are getting ready to start t-ball in the next few weeks for both of them. So I will probably wait and see what the schedule is going to be like before I get him going in the TKD.

Saturday night we had a wonderful date night. We saw Madea's Happy Family play with Tyler Perry live. He was so hysterical!! It was such a great show! Then we went out for dinner and enjoyed a great dinner and I ate what I wanted....oooppss! (That accounts for the weight gain this week, yuk! oh well) Thanks to Granny for keeping the boys also. They enjoyed going for a milkshake and then visiting all of Aunt Jen's animals at her house. They really enjoy staying the night at Granny's also, thanks again Granny!!

Finally getting around to gathering all of our tax stuff! Yuk! I hate doing this every year and I always say I'm going to do it earlier and I end up waiting. I think I have most of it ready and should get it finished up tomorrow I hope! I'm hoping I don't forget to include anything like last year and then they sent us a nasty gram that we owed money!! That wasn't fun, but it turned out not to be as much as they said thanks to our accountant! I'll be sure to include that stuff this year! I'm hoping we might get something back, but I'm not sure.

Only 11 days left till our Disney trip! yahoo!! I was happy to find that the boys have plenty of shorts that they can wear. But I do need to go get D some more shirts, most of his summer shirts are too small. I also need to get in my closet, but hoping if I wait closer to the trip more things will fit better....ha haa!! yeah right, but hey it's worth a try right!?! We are also going to Sea World while we are there. What a tragedy to the trainer there, so I'm not sure if the Shamu show will be available or not while we are there. I keep hearing different reports, so I guess we'll find out when we get there. I'm thinking the weather will be pretty nice temp wise while we are there, so hoping that it's not quite scorching hot yet! Also, looking forward to getting mom on some of the roller coasters, it should be fun!! :-) I'll just convince her that the boys want her too! :-) hee hee!

Well I guess I need to get the dishes washed up since they won't wash themselves! Not much longer and I'll be having the boys starting doing that lovely chore! Boy, I sure hated it when I was younger!! They are very excited to help now, but I know that will change very soon!
