Man oh man oh man

My girls trip was awesome!! But first a few pics of B on his new birthday bike that I wanted to share!

He is doing great on it. He is getting used to the bigger size of it and will be a pro in no time!

Now.........the beautiful, awesome fun weekend!! Here are some pics from the B&B grounds.

 What a gorgeous view!

Oh yeah!! A hammock and a glass of wine....perfect!!

This is inside of our condo 1 block from the main bed and breakfast. It was so awesome!

This is one of the bedrooms that also has doors out to the balcony. Heavenly!

The view from the balcony!

We also had the fancy robes, so of course I had to put one on right away and sip my wine!

Donna and I made goody bags for all the girls, they loved them!

We took a pic with all of our queen tiaras. We even wore them to breakfast one morning..it was hysterical!

This "Dammit doll" that Donna put in our bags was the best! She bought them from a convent, yes a convent in PA. The little tag attached says... " when you think you want to climb the wall, or stand right up and shout, here's a little Dammit Doll, you cannot do without. Just grasp it firmly by the legs, and find a place to slam it, then as you whack it's stuffing out, yell Dammit, Dammit, Dammit!! "
OMG! We died laughing about this doll and used it several times during our night of playing Outburst!

This is the beautiful sunrise from our balcony.

Morning coffee watching the sun come up. Paradise.

A little mardi gras mask pose as we were shopping. Hate that the person that took our picture didn't make sure it was focused first, but oh well!

This is where we did the mineral hot springs bath followed by a massage. More about that later.

Ms. Dammit was enjoying her margarita!

The last moring was extremely foggy when we woke up. You couldn't even see anything that you see in this pic right now. But as the fog started to lift it made a great pic.

This is looking down on the main B& B, isn't it gorgeous scenery!

This is the life!!

What a great time!! The weekend was priceless and full of laughs and great times!

I have lots more pics to share but i"m going to upload them to Shutterfly first and then share the link. Just tried to pick a few of my faves to share for now. Yearly girls weekend gets my vote!!!!!!

Lots and lots of candy!

We took our annual halloween pics before going trick or treat at Granny's.

We even got Daddy to put on a mask!

This is B's new pose for all pics, gotta include the hand! LOL!

My oh my!! Gotta get this candy out of my house! Eekk!! It calls my name every evening! The pumpkin calls my name! It's terrible!! But the boys are loving it!

This Dev's 1st place soccer season trophy. He was very proud!

Raining here again today. YUK! Glad I ran on Sun and Monday. It at least helps a little that I couldn't run yesterday or today. We really needed the rain though. Everything was so dry we had burn warnings. Happy hump day!

B's bday

B had a great time at his 5th bday party at Chuck E Cheese. I have to say I really enjoyed it and it was stress free. They did a great job at handling everything and it all went very smoothly! I'll have to post the video later of him in the ticket master catcher. It was great! There were tickets flying around him everywhere and he had to catch as many as possible. It was so fun to watch and he got alot of tickets and even some bonus tickets to get prizes with! I think he had a wonderful time! Granny tricked him by putting his gift in a hair dryer box, too funny!

Even the big boys got in on the playing action!! Of course!!

And Tim and Amanda too!! :-)

This ride was great and I loved seeing their expressions! B and two of his buddies from school.

I was going to make the cake, but saw a cute one at Walmart on display. So I ordered it, and the toppers are toys which is always a bonus...at least to the birthday boy!

We also managed to get a pic of Mimi too....who tries to avoid the camera!! LOL! It's a great pic!!
I also have Halloween pics of the boys to share also. Maybe I can get them on here tonight!
Mike is gone on a day trip and I have bowling tonight, so the boys are going along. They are pretty excited about it. Last night Dev had his soccer end of year party and got his 1st place trophy!! That was pretty cool.

Thursday night Dev has his first indoor soccer practice, should be fun.! I finally got a new camera too! Hoping I like it as much as my old one, it always takes getting used to a new one! But, just in time for the girls weekend this weekend!! Yippee!! Very excited about that!! Busy week this week! Toodles for now!

At least I tried right?? :-) AND...lets' see $1.36 for the hat, approx $3 for the paint, a free white body suit, my own boots and my own computer printed out logos.....less than $5 for the costume! Priceless! Maybe I'll get $50 out of it!! :-) Let's hope!!

A lotta stuff to share

Where should I begin..hmmm..
Last Sat. we took the boys and Granny to the church fall festival. Wow, it was great! Everyone had a fantastic time! The kids really enjoyed the games and ended up with a whole bag of prizes from the games they played. The boys also got to see some of their friends there too. We ended the festival with a walk through the haunted house. I'm suprised my boys were so eager to go through it since they are pretty much scaredy cats and have never been to one before. There were 3 other kids with us to go through. The door opens and everyone slowly enters and then it starts....Bry starts to holler...I don't want to go in....funny thing was nothing had happened yet. So I picked him up and convinced him to go through it. It really wasn't bad at all. The guy leading us through kept saying we have "little souls here" I guess the hints to his other haunters that this was a group of small kids and not to go all out on the scaring! There really wasn't any type of scaring just that we basically were walking in all darkness to little set up scenes of scary people. The kids all did good, and then right near the end Bry got scared and started yelling that he wanted out of there!! We luckily were right at the end. We all made it through, but Bry started crying AFTER we left the house and one other little boys was pretty scared but not crying. Overall though, I was proud of my little scaredy cats!! They did good!! We spent almost 3 hours at the festival! wow!! It was great weather and we all had a great time!

Tomorrow is my baby boy's 5th birthday!! Wow!! I have a mommy suprise breakfast planned for him and we are going to give him a brand new shiny bike tomorrow night! He won't have to ride like a hamster anymore! That little bike he rides is such a small pedal motion and you can pedal so fast and go nowhere! He is ready for the big boy bike!! I think he will be happy about it. I need to find out what kind of special birthday dinner he wants too! I'm sending cupcakes to school for his class. He told me he really hoped Dev's class sings happy birthday to him at lunch. When it was Dev's bday both boys classes sang to Dev so Bry wants the same, very cute! Sat. is the party at Chuck E Cheese. I hope alot of his friends show up. I haven't had too many RSVP's yet, but maybe they will come. He promises he won't be scared of Chuck but we'll see what happens. I was going to make his birthday cake. I was planning spongebob, but then as I walked through Walmart bakery yesterday I saw the cutest Spongebob cake! I didn't know they had one, and this one has Spongebob, Patrick and Mr. Crabs toy figurines on top, he will love it!! He is also excited that his Mimi and Gran J will be here for the weekend to help celebrate!!

Thursday night is Dev's last soccer game. His team is 1st place in his league. They are undefeated too at the moment! But even if they lose for some reason on Thursday they will still be in 1st and get 1st place trophies! Very cool! His soccer coach is also going to coach an indoor soccer team starting in Nov. I think we are going to sign Dev up. He is totally enjoying soccer and doing very well at improving his skills. The coach invited him to a tournament this weekend, but we have birthday party weekend so that's out. But I'm excited he will get to try some indoor soccer with a coach he already knows and possibly some of the same teammates! Way to go Dev...1st place team!! I'll post a pic of the trophy when he gets it.
Although, I am sad that Bry's coach didn't coordinate getting trophies for the kids. It is optional for the coaches at Bry's age and you have to pay alittle extra for them, but it's still nice for them to get a trophy. Especially at the young age, they like trophies! We might see if we can find him one to give him for soccer.

I ate lunch with the boys at school yesterday. It was fun to sit with them and their friends. It is always interesting to me to see what the other kids eat for lunch. My observation is....don't wonder why your kid gets in trouble so much at school and can't concentrate when he eats.....5 candy corn pumpkins, a brownie, a fruit roll up and one bite of 1/2 of a sandwich you sent for him. CRAZY!! I am amazed at how much candy parents send to school with their kids!! wow!! That was alot, not just one little sweet snack, but lots!! Seriously, why would you eat the sandwich when you have all those other goodies!!

Well I think I can finally see the end of my teeth torture nightmare. The one tooth that was coming in and got stuck and I was about to give up on, has finally come in!! yahoo!!!!! I had told the dr. the time before last, that I was done, take them off, I don't care, I'm done with the torture and time wasting. He wanted me to wait a little longer and I gave in, finally....the tooth came in!! So, my next visit should include an adjustment for another week or two to get everything lined up (one tooth raised up alittle trying to pull the other stubborn one down) and then I should be done. Or I should say I am done! I've had it!! This has been so ridiculous. Of course, 2 out of 3 isn't too bad, but I still have that one that never came in. So I'll have to check into getting a fake one there....yuk, but at least I can get these stupid braces off ! yippee!!

AND.....next Friday I leave for a girls weekend out of town! oh yeah!! Me and 4 other girls are heading to Hot Springs Arkansas to have a girls weekend away! Inspired by you Kelli! My friend heard what a great time I had on my last weekend away that she wanted me and her to plan a girls weekend! We are going to be staying in a bed n breakfast condo on a lake. The pics are beautiful! We are going to experience the traditional bath houses with the hot spring water and do lots of other fun girl stuff! I am so excited!! We will be leaving Friday morning and coming back on Sunday. There will definetely be pics to share! Oh yeah....man I really need to get my new camera soon!! eeekk!!!

WEll I guess that's all the updates I have for now!! Toodles!!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful trick or treat!! My Zorro and Power Ranger are so excited and will be all hyped up on sugar for Monday morning school!! uh oh!!!

B's running finish!

So you have to turn your head sideways, I don't know how to rotate it. sorry! You can see Bry and three other boys in front of him pass the younger kids that started earlier than the older ones. Yay 4th place!! :-)

Dev's running finish

Sorry you will have to turn your head to view this, I'm not sure how to rotate it. My baby did so good on his 1/2 mile run! Yay 6th place!!

Nice time

The weekend seemed to go by so fast! Sat. we went bowling and the boys did great! It was amazing to see how much better they did this time. Of course they are almost a year older! Didn't get a new camera yet so I don't have any pics.
Sunday the boys had their kids race. They did so awesome!! I did manage to get a few pics with my phone! Bry ran 1st and he came in 4th place out of his age group! Wow, there were probably about 20 or so 4 and 5 yr olds running. Then it was Dev's turn. There were 42 signed up in his age group. I would say there were probably about 30-35 kids there approximately. He came in 6th place!! Wow, I was amazed!! He rounded the corner and I saw him try to speed up to the finish line. It was great! I have some videos of the finish line for both if I can figure out how to get it on here. The boys did so great. The weather was so nice that after the race we went to the park for a little while. I can't believe how nice the weather has been for the middle of October! The boys are showing off their medals!

This was taken just after Dev crossed the finish line. He was definetely breathing heavy!

Bry was thrilled about his medal and coming in 4th!!

Well more bad glute news! It is STILL bothering me! This is so ridiculous! I guess it's what I get for having a wild party...hee hee!! So yesterday I biked for 5.2  miles (it doesn't hurt the glute) and then I just walked for 2 miles. I am going to just walk this week during lunch, what a bummer! It's also a bummer that the party and this glute thing caused a 3 lb. gain from my last weigh in! I know excuses, excuses! I am very good at them! Hoping to get out of my slump about it and just do other stuff instead for my exercising. But there is still 5 weeks left in the contest so I have plenty of time to get going again!
Tonight's is Bry's last soccer game. I am sad to see it come to an end. He has actually done so much better the last games. He is much more aggressive and I think he is getting over his anxiety. We still usually have at least one cry session per game over a small injury or fall but overall he has greatly improved! Dev still has a few more games left. Tonight both boys play at the same time. Mike and I will have to split ourselves up and probably switch at half time so we can see the other boy play.
Well that's about all for now...

Also want to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SIS!!!

Happy happy joy joy

Proud momma and daddy here! Last night both boys scored goals at their games! Whoo hoo! Way to go boys! It was a fun soccer night. Even B's team that sometimes plays and sometimes not, they played really well. Remember his team is 4 and 5 yr olds and their attention span isn't long. But they played really well last night and even had some teamwork going on!
Boys are out today for teacher conference day at school. They are hanging out at Granny's house till Daddy picks them up for the conference later this afternoon. The kids are out of school but have to go to the school with the parent for the conference or will be counted absent for the day. I didn't take off this time so I can save my vacation days for field trips, class parties and other vacation days, so Daddy will be going alone to the conference with the boys.
Planning to do some bowling this weekend with the boys. We have alot of free passes that the boys won selling popcorn. I could use the practice and the boys haven't bowled since last year, it should be alot of fun.
I have to go out and buy a new camera this weekend! Boo! Normally that might be a good thing, but I'd rather be spending my money elsewhere. I have dropped it many times and even partially broke the battery latch on our vacation if you remember. But another casualty from the witch party was my camera. It got knocked off of a chair and decided it was the last fall. The lens wouldn't close and then when we finally got it to close it won't even try to work! Boo! I really need to get another camera though, I have photo ops this weekend with bowling and the kids race!!!!
Reserved Chuck E Cheese for B's 5th bday! wow two weeks till 5!!!!!!!   I am going to make him a spongebob birthday cake. He loves spongebob so I figured it would be appropriate!
Well back to work....toodles!

Frustrated!

I am very very frustrated! My butt is being a pain in the butt literally! Yes, my glute muscle is still bothering me from the party on Sat. I tried running at lunch on Tuesday and it hurt. I did run my two miles through the pain. The pain lightened up on the 2nd mile but I was very frustrated! Yesterday I tried to run again at lunch. This time I only ran the 1st mile and then walk/ran the 2nd mile. I didn't want to over do it since I'm still having pain. It is really making me mad. It doesn't hurt all the time but just with butt movements...ha ha...funny I know. Things like sitting for a long time and walking fast or running are things that hurt. Certain ways I bend over to pick up something or taking the stairs also bothers me. This pain isn't really bad, it's just like a really sore muscle. I even tried just walking a mile before work today and I could feel the soreness. I want it to heal but I also don't want to quit my running, since I've been doing so good. But, I guess I'm going to have to take a break for a couple of days. I figure I will only walk today at lunch and just tell myself it's for the best. Who would of thought I'd be mad about not running..ha ha...but I guess I've built up my consistency and I don't want to stop. All for trying to pick up that darn Boo Berry cereal box!! Bummer!!
Bowling doesn't hurt the glute though...amazing. Not sure if I mentioned I joined a bowling league. It's pretty fun. It's me, mom , Jen's boyfriend and another guy on our team. We aren't the best team, but we just try to have fun. Suprisingly the other night my glute didn't hurt when I bowled. You would think it might, but it didn't. Very strange.
We have double soccer games tonight. Not sure what's for dinner tonight. I ususally try to have it all planned out but not tonight, not yet anyway. I will try to figure it out today.
This Sunday the boys will run in their kids' race. They really enjoyed it last year. I think they will enjoy it this time too. B is doing much better than last year, I don't think I will have to run with him this time :-)
Well guess that's all for now. Hope next time I post it won't be so much about my butt...LOL!! Toodles.

Well.....pure belly laughs!

My Witch party was a great success! You can see all the funny silliness here! There are lots of pics as you know me by now!!
Everyone that came at least wore a hat like instructed and others went full out! It was great!! All the girls had a great time. We ate, chatted, had some drinks of course played silly games! The best/worst of the night was our last game. It was where you place a cereal box on the floor and you have to pick it up with your teeth and only your feet can touch the floor. It was so hilarious!! Well we had one girl that was awesome! After the people take a turn you keep cutting the box lower and lower. The box was so low and one girl got it pretty easy. Me and Jill my co-host decided we wanted to get in on the action since we didn't really play the games. Jill went first and didn't quite get it and then fell. She hurt her leg, we didn't really know how bad till later. I also went, got it with some struggling and fell to the floor. I challenged the other girl to go lower, so she picked how low to cut the box, wow it was low!! She again got it pretty easy, I was determined to do it too. I was able to get it but fell again and also got a dull pain in the back of my leg. Well we aren't spring chickens anymore...boo!! Jill turned out to have tore her hamstring. She is on crutches with pain meds. That night my leg burned all night long and was killing me the next day. I figured I had the liquid pain killers on  board at the party so when those wore off I could feel the pain the next day. I iced the back of my leg and took ibuprofen. I am much better now, didn't tear it like Jill, but I still feel a little soreness there. I am going to try to run at lunch today, hoping it is better. I don't want to lose my running routine. Anyway, besides the injuires..hee hee....the party was a great success!! I guess next time I will make sure everyone one warms up and does stretches before the games...LMAO!!
The rest of the weekend was great. We took the boys to the park to ride bikes. B didn't make it too far, he really needs a new bike. He peddles so fast but doesn't really go anywere on that little bike. Dev did awesome and rode 5 miles around the lake at the park. Awesome! The weather was so nice!
Back to the routine this week after our long weekend for fall break!
Hope you enjoy all the silly party pics! It was a blast! Toodles for now.
