Bry got a chance to be an extra on Devin's soccer team. He loved it. Next year we are definetely signing him up to play for real on his own team! He did awesome with the big boys!

Devin played on two teams, so he got medals and a trophy.

We asked the coach if Bry could get a trophy too....he was so happy!

The church festival was a blast! They had tons of rides and games and food. The boys loved the rides as you can tell!

A friend came in town and we took them to a nearby plantation for a tour...it was gorgeous and a fabulous tour!!

Well it's getting harder and harder to post on here. I tend to post pics on FB because it's faster. My time seems go by so fast. Working now three days a week and trying to keep up my running and homework with boys, housework, my crafts for some up coming visitors and many other things that are always going on around here. I know you Mom's out there know what I'm talking about. Things are going well, just very busy. Bry only has 5 days of school left!! Wow, he gets out almost a week earlier than Dev does. I guess it's a Kindergarten thing. Dev had his 1st Communion this weekend. It was a very happy time for him and for us also.
We only have 3 weeks till Disney too!! Yahoo....we are definetely ready for a vacation after this past year of whirlwind events. I'll try to get on here more this week and post some really fun pics I have for those of you not on FB. Toodles....

Zoom!

Wow time is flying by so fast now that I am working!! Alot has been going on, we'v been busy, and my computer totally died for about a week. Thankful that Mike was able to fix it though. Work is going good, it's an adjustment getting back into the flow, but all is going well.
I forget where my last post left off but I start here and then I'll try to fill in the missing parts later. Dev is almost done with soccer. Last weekend was killer! He had 3 games and scores 2 goals in each of the three games! Wow...I don't think he's scored all season up till now. I think the game and how to play and how to play as a team is all sinking in. He is doing so much better these last few games. Oh yeah...on one of his teams the coach asked Bry to be a fill in. He was so happy and did play a little he did very good. Of course now he wants to be on a team. So next season we will sign him up. He has helped out a little in a few of these last games, of course he is not really on the team, but hey...he is having fun and I'm not going to tell the other teams! LOL...I do have some pics of that, but I'll have to show them later.
My Confirmation went very well. It was such a special day. I have some pics from that also, that I'll share later.
Bry is signed up for gymnastics. He is really enjoying it so we are going to try it for little while this summer.
I volunteered at the boy's school on Friday to help with fun day. It was alot of fun. It was very well organized and they had lots of game stations for the kids. I do have some pics to share from that.

First a few funny pics. OOpps did a little Easter shopping and left the chocolate bunnies in the car a little too long...LOL....decided not to put these in the baskets...ha ha..

Caught this pic of a Gecko on our door glass. Yes, he's on the outside. Although one day I did find one inside and freaked out but luckily I was able to smack him with the broom.

Bittersweet

I have several pics I want to share, but don't have time at the moment. It was a great weekend for my Confirmation, Easter and family time. Mike and I took the boys to the beach in Biloxi on Sunday. Wonderful weekend.
Bittersweet is going back to work tomorrow after having 7 months off. I'm excited, but always awkward being the newbie. :-)
I'll be back later this week to share about my new job and share all the Easter weekend pics.

Not prepared

I was not prepared for April fools day like I was last year. What a bummer! The boys kept wanting me to make them an April fools snack! LOL...well I guess I have a whole year to plan it!!
We got all packed up on Monday with a picnic lunch and all and headed to the spray park. Well, it's closed on Mondays! Bummer....good thing it wasn't far away! We came home and I let the boys play in the sprinkler and we ate our picnic lunch on the back patio. Still a fun spring break day.
Yesterday I had special errands to run......yep...preemployment stuff!!! That's right! I was offered a job!! whoo hoo, very excited! And it isn't too far away and has great hours! I'm guessing I'll be starting next week sometime after all the prestuff is complete!! yay! Perfect timing too!! Me and the boys enjoyed a great lunch out and then went plant shopping.
Today was planned to be another spray park attempt except that it stormed all night long! So it's wet out and much cooler today. So, I got online and rented the boys three movies from redbox. When we got there to pick them up the machine wasn't working. I called the help line and the guy emailed me 5 free movie codes for the inconvience. The best part is that we went back a little later and the guy was there and had just fixed the machine. So we got our three movies and we get 5 free ones. I'm ok with that!! Then I picked the boys up a McGriddle McDonalds. It's their favorite breakfast sandwich. Boy, it sure smelled good, but I was good and didn't have one. Still working on my vacation self...hee hee...only about 6 weeks or so left.
Tomorrow I think we will color eggs and maybe try the spray park idea again if the weather cooperates.

Saturday is approaching soon. It's the Easter Vigil Service and.....my confirmation!! We had a practice last night for everyone to know where and what to do for the service. It's going to be so nice!! I just hope the boys can make it through the long service!! In less than a month from now, Dev will be having his 1st Communion too! This year is starting out very special!
