So I tried two new recipes tonight and they are both delicious!! The first one is Chicken and Broccoli Casserole that you can find here. It was so easy and taste great. I used frozen chopped chicken and frozen broccoli and didnt' cook it before mixing it all together. I just mixed it all up and cooked in the oven and it turned out great!! A great combo easy and yummy!!
The other recipe I just know will be great also. It's a Lemonade Stand Pie found here. I haven't tasted the finished frozen product, but after licking the leftovers from the bowl I just know it will be great too!!
Here is yet one more recipe I found online:
CHOCOLATE TRIFLE
1 pkg 19.8 oz brownie mix 1 8oz. cool whip, thawed
1 pkg 3.9 oz. instant chocolate pudding mix 1 12oz. cool whip, thawed
1/2 cup water 1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
Prepare brownie mix according to directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 in squares.
In large bowl, combine pudding mix, water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in 8 oz. cool whip until no white streaks remain,.
In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mix and half of the 12 oz cool whip. Repeat layers. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.
Totally delicious!!!!!!!!
The boys had a wonderful egg hunt at the church this morning. They died 1500 real eggs and hid them around the church grounds. Wow, it didn't take long for the kids to gather them ALL up!! Looks like we'll be having egg salad like alot of other people!! Then we spent most of the day at the park and then just playing outside around the house enjoying the beautiful weather!!
We also had a welcome treat last night! Our neighbors brought us some wonderful easter basket cupcakes to enjoy! Yum!
Well that's all for now! Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter morning! Gotta go make a plastic egg trail from the boys rooms down to their Easter baskets! I can't wait to see D's reaction to his new Hot Wheels Wii game and B's suprise to his very own new fish!! :-) Toodles.
