Here we go

Alright!! Here we go! This morning went a little different than planned. I dropped D off and they offered to bring him home. That meant I had to go home and straighten the house up in addition to my other plans. I did get to the bank and then went and signed both boys up for fall soccer. I got home and cleaned up. Then I got to the stuff I wanted to do while all the boys were gone. My 3, then 2 hours of free time went by like it was 10 minutes!! But I did get a few things done, just didn't get on here. But here I am and the pics actually loaded! I am so thrilled.
So let's start with my girls weekend in Kansas city! What a blast! We had so much fun hanging out, chatting, eating and drinking! We had two adjoining rooms so the 6 of us could all mingle as we wanted. The hotel was gorgeous! We were all bummed out though that you had to pay to use the gym....whatever!!!

This is what you get when you complain that your Long Island tea was watered down. The bar manager himself with a little ego attitude came and personally delievered Stacy's drink and overflowed it with alcohol. His sarcasm was uncalled for, but it helped her enjoy the night! hee hee!

We didn't know we'd have our own live entertainment!! Kelli was competing with the 80 yr old man out on the dance floor. Jennifer did dance with the man, but decided to tip Kelli instead! ha!! LOL!

I DON'T KNOW! Just a fun pic!!

I had a great time with the girls and hope maybe we can make it an annual event to have a girls weekend away!!
Me and my sis here posing after my food party with the dud hostess. But we still all had a great time!

My friend Tiff got the 1st to arrive award...aka....I'm ready to eat!! The boys loved my necklace and couldn't wait to find out who won it! Leave it to me right....ha....love it!!

This is from a play date with Bry. We had breakfast with Dad and Dee and then went to the park to feed the ducks and geese.   He was terrified. He wanted back in the car. So while I was feeding them, here he was!

We did make it over to the bridge area and then he was much more comfortable feeding them.

Dad gave us this wonderful pool!! The boys love playing in it! I've even been in it with them! Ahhh. refreshing!

Congrats to my D for his kindie graduation!! So proud of him! 1st grade next...wow!! And his little brother joining him at school!!!!! Yeah!!! One drop off and one pickup spot.....so happy!

I did take the boys to build a bear. Yes, both boys. B wasn't supposed to get it, but he did great the last two weeks like I asked him. He even got two sunshine reports in one week! I thought for a 4 yr old that was awesome! So they both got the build a bear experience. For those of you (probably grandparents..hee hee) that don't know how it works......First the boys got to pick what animal skin they wanted. It was just the animal shell. They took it to the next station where a girl let the boys control the foot pedal and she filled the animal with stuffing. They got to pick out a little heart to put in it and then she sewed them up. Next station, was the wash station. It was neat because they had little scrub brushes and the boys stepped on a foot pedal that sounded like water running.

Once they were clean then it was time to pick the outfit and get them dressed to go home. I couldn't believe all the possiblities! Wow, they even had choices like eyeglasses and skates. We did end up with bear underwear under the outifts...hilarious! These are the final products!
D's is a panda bear even though you can't see him, transformed into a storm trooper. He named him Fuzzy.

B picked a leopard as Luke Skywalker. He named him Bo-bee.. Not sure where that came from, but these days he will fit right in! LOL!

This is D in preparation to go down the slide and the Y. Love the goggles!! And....why can't I have those ABS!!

My baby B and his baseball game. Not sure what he's pointing at, but at least in this pic he's not kicking or throwing dirt!

HI MOM AND DAD!!

This is the bribery for a good pic. We have to take a crazy pic first and then we can take a good one. Hey...what ever works right?

My growing up boy in his big boy summer clothes!!

Yes! I am so excited that I finally got some new pics on here!! Next I hope to figure out how to get some videos on here.
It is really hot here this weekend. I think we might go to the Y pool tomorrow or the water spray park to stay cool.
Planning a trip to STL in a few weeks. I'm very excited to take the boys to visit some friends and do some fun things in STL.
On a serious note, please keep Dad in your thoughts and prayers. He is starting to get to the rough times in his chemo and radiation. His BP was very low yesterday and now he has to have an IV bag of fluids daily at home to help keep him hydrated. At least he is about at the 1/2 way point! Hang in there Dad you can do it!!
Well time to go figure out something to do inside with the boys. Maybe I'll make up some type of scavenger hunt, they always love that kind of stuff!
Toodles for now.
