Well, 1/2 of the week is over. I had to work Mon. so I didn't get much done this week. Yesterday I actually spent most of the day scrapbooking. Can you believe it?? I went to Michael's and picked up some supplies to keep me going...after about $130 bucks I was outta there...whew!But I did about 8 or so pages yesterday of my baby B. Now I am just past his 3 month milestone! I only have 9 more months of pics to go to finish his 1 yr. baby book. But at least I'm working on it again. I also have a special project in mind coming up very soon(some of why my bill was a little high.) Can't spill the beans till it's done, but I think it will be very special!
My in laws have arrived in town to see their new little niece Addison. I stopped by for a moment yesterday to visit and she was so preciously sleeping. Babies always look so sweet and peaceful when they are sleeping. The boys got to show off a little for Mimi and Gran J last night. Why kids always act crazy when people come over is beside me, I guess they are just really excited and don't know how to act, it is so funny. The boys enjoyed Mimi helping them take a bath and get ready for bed.
D had his first T ball practice yesterday. It was so cute. He was a little scared at first but once we got there he did just fine. I think he didn't know what to expect. He told me he wouldn't be able to hit the ball when they threw it to him...I had to explain he'd be hitting it off the tee just like at home. He really enjoyed running the bases. He had no idea what bases were until last night. When I was telling him that he would hit the ball and run around the bases he just said "huh?". Oh yeah, I guess mommy and daddy hadn't told you what bases are...silly us. And silly mommy didn't even think to get you a glove to take to practice, what was I thinking....oh yeah I wasn't thinking, just excited about his first Tball practice with no glove to catch the ball...duh!! Guess we'll be out buying some stuff before his next practice on Sat. I didn't take any pics last night, but I'll be sure to get some on Sat. We will have to see what hand he will throw with. He is left handed but stands to bat right handed. He tends to switch back and forth between right and left to throw the ball. So we'll be trying to figure out what glove to buy, right or left....
We had a pretty bad hail storm the other night. I was suprised that it didn't wake the boys. When D got up he told me " a big monster was throwing alot of acorns on the house last night" so I guess it did wake him up. I love the analogy. It did sound like that; we just don't have any monsters or any trees to speak of in the yard, let alone any that would drop acorns....I love what kids say!
B got a no no report yesterday for biting in school. His teacher told me she thought he was just copying another kid who had just bit someone and then another kid bit someone. He didn't want to show his paper to daddy at all last night. When I told him to show daddy his report, he just went running saying"leave me alone daddy, leave me alone daddy" He knew he was in trouble for biting, even though daddy just wanted to talk to him. It was very cute, and goes to show even little kids know the difference between right and wrong. He was very sad and didn't want to see daddy(he knew daddy was disappointed), but then after daddy talked to him, he was better and went right back to playing.
On the agenda tonight is cupcakes for D's school party tomorrow. I took the easy route for B's and he's bringing juice. But I'll let both boys decorate the cupcakes. I might get a few cupcake ideas from my cupcake site to the right ---->>. They have such cute ideas.
