Vacation Day 3

First of all: it's actually snowing outside! I don't know how much we'll get. The ground is still pretty warm, but the temp is continuing to drop. The boys might get to play in some snow after all.....we'll see. I guess one use out of snow boots is better than none, right?!

Ok, the boys slept in till about 7:45 again today which is much better than 6-6:30 like at home. I was really hoping they would sleep in at least a little since we were staying up sooooo late! After breakfast( the cereal and pop tarts I brought along worked out great!) we boarded a bus and headed to Epcot. Tanya got us in the gate(thanks so much Spencers!!) and away we went. We first headed to the stroller rental which was the best way to go. One stroller wasn't enough, D would get tired of walking and then they would fight over who would ride in the stroller. This way with a double stroller they both could ride and we figured we might could do some extra walking.

We took the boys to the Nemo show/ride. We rode in little clam-mobiles. D enjoyed it but B was scared in the darkness and wasn't sure what to think. Afterwards we went to the interactive show with Crush the turtle. I have to say that it was pretty cool. The turtle (which was on a tv screen) he interacted with the kids up front and asked questions and answered them, it was really neat. If you ever go to Epcot, this was a really neat show to see! The adults loved it too!

We tried to go to the Character Spot to get pics with a bunch of the characters but the boys were still to scared...darn....there was only a very short line too! Oh well...next time I guess.

Daddy and D rode a car ride that went really fast. Daddy said D cried afterwards....I think he didn't know what to think and the almost 60mph scared him just a little.... :{

We took turn riding Misson to space which was a very cool ride. The boys were both too little to ride so we got the fast pass(it gives you a time to come back so as to not stand in line) and we both took turns riding, it was fun. D did enjoy the ride Soarin' it's like you are flying high in the clouds and all above gorgeous scenery. D loved the part where the fighter jets zoom by...he yelled out"whoa!" it was cute!

We ended our evening by going to Downtown Disney for a little shopping. We especially enjoyed the Lego store. Of course all the boys left with a toy! :) D has had a great time building his a little each night... wow how far Lego's have come, it's amazing.

We enjoyed a wonderful African themed buffet at our hotel for dinner. The food was wonderful!!
The next morning we pretty much got up, ate, and packed and headed to the airport.
We truly enjoyed our vacation and I'm so glad that we decided to go! The boys enjoyed it and we are already looking forward to going back. Maybe in about 2 yrs or so when the boys are 4 and 6! We had such great weather and the crowds weren't bad at all. Note to self: this is the time of year we will go next time.....great weather and low crowds....what else can you ask for.

TGIF to all and have a great weekend. I'll post some pics tonight and hopefully get a slideshow put together of our entire trip. I took some great pics at the hotel and of the animals around the resort. That's all my rambling for now....toodles.
