Me and my boyz: Enjoyable

Ok, well here it goes. First, I uploaded all these pics and then went and did some other things. Then I came back and added them to the blog page. Then, I left and did some things and came back to resize them. Well, I have learned not to do this again this way. My pics have created their own order and some of them won't let me resize them. So...try to stay with me here...hee hee.

So we went out to my BIL's lake house to stay a night this past weekend. The boys really enjoyed the nature around us and playing with their cousin. We went to a nearby state park and also did some swimming in the pool. This is a picture from the playground with a beautiful lake view in the background.

Now we are at the pool. This is my adorable diva niece!! Isn't she so cute!

The boys have really like having Daddy in the pool. They are used to going with me so having daddy this time was alot of fun. They had a great time riding on his back.

We came back in town for the 4th evening and decided to have a last minute cookout. The boys got some sparklers at a birthday party earlier in the week so we tried them out. We had quite the time getting them lit. It was kinda strange. But once we did, D decided to hold one. He was kinda scared and held his nose for the smell and smoke. B never would hold one. We also get to see the fireworks display at a nearby park right from our backyard..it's wonderful!

Yesterday afternoon the boys spent about 30 minutes running around the yard with nets trying to catch dragonflies. I thought it was hysterical! I thought surely they would never catch one! HA!!! Should of known my determined and "fastest runner" Dev would catch not one but two dragronflies!! The first one lost his life with a severed head. The 2nd one lived but lost one wing in the catch. Wow....he just kept trying and trying and finally his determination paid off. Not to mention, he is fast as lightning!!

This is from waterslide day from the boys day camp. I love this action shot!! The funniest part is that he actually stopped right there and didn't go in the pool at the bottom. You would never know it from this pic!

Another photo op for mommy from the lake house. This was taken after several silly face shots. One including "little bit" shaking his booty at the camera...they are such hams!!
